Is there a way to stop multiple picks in the same order line ?

We pick what is available in stock, say ordered unit was 10 and only 8 were sent to pick, right now remaining 2 are sent to pick later when the stock becomes available. However we don't want D365 to release the balance 2 units EVER. We do not have WMS enabled. This is just a normal pick list batch that sends order to a third party warehouse. For this scenario, we just want 8 units to be sent to pick and remaining 2 can be open.

I tried with the prevent partial delivery toggle in sales line but that does not seem to work.

If there isn't a direct setup to meet this requirement, does any one know if this can be done as a condition in the pick batch to not pick an already picked line, i.e. through a line status or something.

Any help appreciated.

Hi AX.TB,

You may check if you have enabled the inventory dimension on the item coverage form where you can specify your safety stock or mins and maxes by warehouse.
