Hi all,
I am facing a problem in MS RMS headquarter. When i am taking the Detailed Sales report RMS is going to hanged and after some time it gives me the error of timeout. Please help me to solve this issue. We are using Microsoft RMS 2.0 SP 4.
Our current data size is 1GB.

You can always make a Maintenance Plan in SQL Server to rebuild index on daily basis instead of upgrading RMS or even installing new service packs
I had the same issue and the Rebuild index solved it.
We are using FB2 RETAIL2.0-KB2727850
Could you tell me which KB# FP2 should I download? could you send me if you have one?
We are using database version RMS 2.05. Its working fine

Using MS SQL Server 2008 R2
We had the same problem. We was not be able to open inventory transfer sheets quickly, reports got struck and was not be able to get the data, but after upgrading the RMS, It solve our all problems.
Please share your database version.

That is not true. I am using SP4 with FP2 and it has not been solve my problem.

We found the solution. Please just upgrade your RMS. Install SP4 and after that FP2. Your problem will be solve. No need to upgrade any server.

Our DB size is over 10GB and I reindex once a week. It works for a week and after week later it started goes really slow. I am not sure for the future, let say we are going to add more stores, that means, we are going to reindex DB more often. I think MS need to come up with some solution for this. Our server is pretty decent. I can't afford new additional server.
