Hi David,
Could you please check if there is any pending invoice stuck which is causing the invoice screen from not showing you the correct records.
Follow these steps:
1) Please delete all pending invoices AP>Vendor Invoices>Pending Invoices
2) Go to PO and check invoice tab see if the pending invoice button is enabled. If it is shown that means there is a pending invoice

Do you have a developer around who could help you debugging the issue?
There are some fixes available on LCS but whether they might help resolving the issue needs a deeper investigation/debugging.
