Bank Transfer Posting

I am attempting to allow a user to perfrom a bank transfer posting. However the user cannot post the entry. I have allocated the following task to the user: TRX_FIN_003 and TRX_FIN_007.

But still the user is prompted with the error: You do not have authorization to perform transaction posting

    Under Administration > Posting > Posting, change the Series to Financial and Origin to Bank Transfer Entry.  Is the Allow Transaction Posting checkbox selected here?  If not, check this and have the users try again.

    Thanks Mike S. I figured it out the next day. But you are correct, i gave the user the necessary Security Task however the posting options were not set correctly. The posting option for this was not set to allow posting to the GL. Also i have subsequently learnt that you shouldnt allow the user to post through to the GL (bad practice, less headache however)...

    As par Mike said its correct , please verify once Is the Allow Transaction Posting checkbox selected , if not check this and try one more time....
