Hello D365 Community, I have enabled folder level tracking for some users in my org, where the emails are supposed to be tracked under existing Leads or if the lead is not there, system will create a new lead and track the email thread there.
The new leads that get created via this method get assigned to the user whose folder is tracked. The existing leads although that are already there are owned by let's say CRM Admin user. My question is, is there a way to re-assign these leads automatically to the user whose folder has been tracked?
For e.g. There are 100 existing leads in CRM owned by John, I enabled folder level tracking for Jane, some emails in Jane's mailbox are from existing leads in CRM (currently owned by John) and some are from new email IDs. System creates new leads for emails that are from new emails IDs and automatically assign these leads to Jane. Emails from existing leads are getting tracked under existing Leads owned by John. Can I automatically assign Leads owned by John to Jane as soon as a new email is tracked from Jane's mailbox?
Thanks!
Hi,
In this scenario, you can use a workflow to automate the re-assignment.
