Hi,i searched forum and found similar topic for this issue but I had problem and hope someone here can help me.

scenario: one domain server (windows server 2008 64bit sp1) and a few client (windows 8.1 64bit) can connect to crm 2011 on server with IE 11 but with outlook 2013 (32bit) everything fine with configuration wizard CRM and can connect to organization and CRM but when I try click on Sales or marketing or any section of crm in outlook give me the error.

on similar topic, some post said "enable the Platform tracing and then reproduce the error message".

here is my question:

how can I "enable the Platform tracing and then reproduce the error message"?(sorry if so armature)

    I really confused about it. run this tools on client side and connect to server without problem. but I don't know which category should be checked on which LEVEL?

    and important thing is which part of log I have to post here to help me.

    I really appreciate if anyone knew the answer and help me out.

    Hi Farbodkain,

       If you have a CRM OnPremise instance than you can enable Server Verbose Tracing which will allow you to see what is the true error behind the generic ""An error has occurred.. " type of error. You can easily achieve this by using one of the following 2 options(Option 1 / Option 2 ). You need to first enable the traces (for easier usage simply leave all categories on Verbose level) and then do a quick repro of the issue and then disable the traces (make sure you mark down the time (hour, minute, second) of when the error occurs).You then need to simply look in the "w3wp-crmweb" log at the time you have noted from your repro(you can open the log file with a dedicated tool - Example - for easier reading. With that error you can either came back here and post it or open a Support Incident with us to have a closer look at your issue.
