We observed that when opening the Power BI Workspace in D365FO and then refreshing the entire screen, the following error is triggered.

For your information, this issue is occurring across all environments, including Test, UAT, and Live.

Could you please help us identify the root cause of this issue and advise on the appropriate resolution?

We have attached the error details for your reference.

Thank you in advance for your support.

    Good day,

Is it for one user or for all users?

    Best regards,
    Laurens van der Tang

    Hi,

Can you tell us what exact workspace you are using? There is no Power BI workspace provided out of the box. Looking at the form name, this might be a user configured workspace. Can you provide more details about how the workspace is added with what exact content?

    Hello Everyone,

We have created a custom Power BI workspace in D365 Finance & Operations. This issue has been occurring for the past one week and is affecting all environments (Test, UAT, and Live) as well as all users.

In D365FO, we created a personalized workspace named "Test PBI Reports." Using the Open Report Catalog option, we added the required custom Power BI reports to the workspace.

Users access these Power BI reports directly within the D365FO application (through application integration) rather than through the Power BI Service.

The reports open successfully. However, after opening any report, if we refresh the entire browser page the following error is displayed:

"Form SysGenBlankWorkspaceCanvas requires an active buffer of type FormRunConfigurationUserWorkspace."

We have also verified that the same behavior occurs with the standard environment (Power BI workspace), indicating that the issue is not specific to our custom workspace.
