Have a look at the related employments for this worker. He could have a start date in the future.

Thanks for your reply, The user is in inactive,that's why status is pending would you like to tell me how to make it active or remove from pending status.
Like mentioned above, check the Employment history form or Maintain versions to see the actual start and end dates.
