Can I map the same G/L Account for Cost of Goods Sold and Overhead Applied Account?

Hi,
You should not use same account for both. Although there will be no error but functionally its not correct.
COGS account is used to post the cost of items when it is sold where as Over head account is used to post the extra cost while acquiring items, resources etc.
