Imported Leads need Qualify Stage "Started On" to be a unique value

We have imported over 5K records into the Leads entity and set the Created On date to a unique value based on the real start date from another system. The Lead records are correctly imported with that Created On Date. However, the related Lead to Opportunity Sales Process record is automatically created at the same time and it's starting the Qualify Stage as the import date which is not what we want. We want it to accurately be the same as the create date on the Lead.

So, now we are left with Lead records with a Create Date of X and the Qualify Stage Start Date of Y. How do I make the Qualify Stage Start Date = X? I've tried an on demand workflow to update the related BPF record with the value from the Created On date from Lead, but the Activate Stage Started On field is non-editable.

This really shouldn't be this convoluted.

The BPF record entity does have an overriddencreatedon field like all other entities. It might thus be possible that you can import these BPF records and have them override their created on the same way it did for leads and hope that the Active Stage Started On derives from that instead.

I guess exporting all BPF-records, deleting the existing ones and importing them as new would be a working way.

Should work through the regular Excel import if all your leads have a unique name. If not, then some other migration tool of your choice should do the trick.
