Grant Security to custom Navigation List

Posted on by 245

Good Afternoon,

I have created a custom Navigation List for displaying open Receivables transactions including invoice, credit, debit and payments. Sa and power users can obviously access the new Navigation List however; although I created a Security Task granting access to the Navigation List and assigning it to the necessary Security Role, my users cannot access the Navigation List and receive the following message:

"You don't have security privileges to open this window."

Anyone have any suggestions to remedy this issue?

Thanks,

Lori

    Lori,

Make sure that your users have access to the "Progress" window.

Under Administration > Setup > System > Security Tasks, select your Security Task granting permissions and set Product = SmartList Builder, Type = Windows, Series = System, see if Progress is checked below in the list.
