Hi All

Trying to import General Journal template through data management, keep receiving below error, any suggestion



A property for a journal batch number has more than one value. Update the journal batch number properties to be the same for all lines assigned to the same journal batch number.

    Hi Nazim,

    You can try to disable set based processing for the job and try again. Reference:

    Apart from this just make sure you are passing same Batch number to lines

    yeah, its a same batch number for all the lines

    What we found is the description column can be left blank as this update actually the journal batch description and use the text field for the line description

    ->After attempting various solutions, I eventually discovered that the error was due to the Description column in the uploaded file containing different text for each line.

    ->Since the Description column is meant for header level description, having varying descriptions for the same journal batch number resulted in the error. Upon inserting a common description for all the lines, the error was resolved and the file was successfully uploaded.
