When I Export some reports to Excel numeric data appears as "TEXT" and I have to convert this to a number, is there any way to avoid this, is there a missing setup or parameter?
Thanks in advance.

Hi
Unfortunately, seems like this is the only option. But I agree with you that numbers should be number. My suggestion is
1) Submit your idea here (or if you want I can do that) https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/categories/list/?category=54db8819-83ed-e611-8105-5065f38a3bb1&forum=e288ef32-82ed-e611-8101-5065f38b21f1
2) or I hope one of Microsoft employee here can bring this up to there team ( Marco Mels Andy Sather and ... )
Thanks
this reports come naturally from analysis views (sales, inventory, purchases) nothing programmed here. Do I really need to change this with some coding?
:(

Hi
I am in SaaS version. Below answer is for SaaS. I heard this is possible in On-prem through Excel Buffer or similar method (https://www.sauravdhyani.com/2021/07/business-central-14-export-to-excel.html)
I asked this questions before and the only answer I received is 1) I need to add Excel Buffer to report page 2) modify report layout. Hence, I never moved forward with either of them.
Recently Microsoft revealed the plan to add Excel Report layouts to reports. Lets hope this can be used for this purpose.
