Hi Experts,

Can you please guide me on below requirement?

Does Microsoft has a new feature to take an email that has an attached *.xml and an *.PDF.  Then extract data from the *.xml to create a pending vendor invoice and then attach the .pdf to the pending vendor invoice.

Kindly provide your suggestions.

Thanks & Regards,
Naveena G.

There is a feature called Invoice capture, but you don't really need it in your case. You would use it if you didn't have the XML file with the data and you needed to extract the data from a picure.

In your case, you can simply use Power Automate (or something like that) to fetch the email and push the data to F&O. You can either transform the XML to a form that can be imported via F&O data management, or you'll extract the data and use F&O data entities through a connector.

The entities you could use are VendInvoiceHeaderEntity (public name VendorInvoiceHeader), VendInvoiceLineEntity (VendorInvoiceLine) and VendorInvoiceDocumentAttachmentV2Entity (VendorInvoiceDocumentAttachment).

Aymen, you seemed to get confused by the name and didn't read my reply where I already explained that this feature is about something else. The feture uses OCR and AI to extract information from images, but it's not needed here. Naveena already has the data available in XML.
