Can the GL description char length be extended without any customerisation? I had an import file which the description is longer than 50 cha

I have the same question (0)

    No, you cannot.

    And changing the length of the field is not a wise thing to do.

    You can create a new Field as Description 2 and pass the remaining(>50 char) description there.

    No. That is not possible.

    The best would be to trim the description in the source import file. This would avoid customizing the application.
