Hello,
Is there a way to run a report to see which item numbers are shipped out to corresponding sales order number.

There is no such OOB report in ax. You need to customize it.
Or have you considered checking it through the on-hand inventory transaction? Do some filters on Reference and Issue field.

You could try to adjust the "Order lines not invoiced" report in Accounts Receivable - Reports - Transactions - Sales orders.
It's using SalesNotInvoiced query in AOT. In SalesLine data source there's a range for SalesStatus.
It's Status is Hide. You can change that to Open, and then users can remove or adjust the range when running the report. This way they can get all order lines.
