I have a custom field that is a lookup on Contacts that is included in the list of available fields to Search via the Quick Find feature. This has worked for years. Since the recent update (Dec. update for 2016) the search has stopped returning results for searches targeting this field. Very odd.

As far as I can tell and as far as the user is reporting, yes, that is the only field.
Yes, we do have full-text search enabled.

***UPDATE*** I did just read this as one of the resolved issues in the 8.2.1 update which I have not applied yet. Sounds related?

just out of curiosity, is it the only lookup field that's not working for the quick find? And, then, do you have full-text search enabled?(not that I know why full-text would affect that particular lookup right now, but still)
