Hi All,

Can any one tell me the process ,how to find the Table name for the Custom Fields in Dynamics GP .

I have few customer fields in Sales transaction Entry window ( Header level and Line Item Level ), but I didn't get those fields in Sales order (SOP GP Tables) tables.

Thanks & Regards,

Pavan G.

    An example

Google SQL Server Profiler and trace. Your objective is  to capture the queries that the application is running against the database.

Then by looking at the captured information, captured while you updated a value in the field in question, you should be able to locate the table being updated.

There are a few different ways to customise GP.

One of the quickest ways if you are new to the installation and just need the fields, is to use a SQL trace to "sniff" the SQL whilst you make a change to those fields, limiting the output to your SQL user.
