User / Roles based restriction required to access system dashboards in Dynamics 365 CRM

Hi All,

We have more number of system dashboards in our organisation. Some of the dashboards needs to be restricted for some users(Even though they have read only access on those entities & charts). 

According to my knowledge,

> Personal dashboards can be shared with Users / Teams but not based on security roles.

> Personal dashboards can't be included in solutions.

> System dashboards can't be controlled with Users / Teams / Security Roles. 

> System dashboards can be included in solutions. 

Is there any way around to restrict system dashboard's access with specific to users / roles ???

    System dashboards can be configured y security roles. You can enable a dashboard for specific role only.

    Thanks for your time & response.

    Can you pls explain how to specify security role for dashboard. I am not able to find manage security roles option for selected dashboards.

    Go to the default solution and you will find the option.

    Hi Vikas,

    Thanks a lot. I am able to access dashboards based on roles. Final clarification required on  this..  After enabling security roles from my default solution, If I add the same in my dashboard solution for some other organisation.. Enabled security role's users only can access right ?? Please correct me If I am wrong.

    If that security role already exists in the target environment Yes. Else you can shift the role as well.

    In my knowledge, No, you cannot do the same with charts.
