    Hello,

You can use Recurring General Journal with 'BD Balance by Dimension' to reclass from one GL to another GL at the end of the accounting period.

It is not automated, but you can create a Batch and Post it on every year.

Let say I have a debit amount of 100 posted into 1320 - Increases during the Year from 1 Jan 1 Dec 2024.

This is how I will create my Recurring General Journal.

You can see the result Preview Posting.
The system will recalls a total of 1,200 ( 100 * 12 months) from Increases during the Year to Vehicles GL.

If you consider customization it can be done, the standard can only be done manually each time as Valentin mentioned. However, some convenient functions can be used, such as the following Standard journals

    Hope this helps as well.
    Thanks.

There's no functionality out of the box that transfers the balance of such a 2nd account to the 1st account in your example. You'll have to manually do it using a journal entry.
