Below image represents product receipt generation through load details. Here it showing total discount amount 0. while generating product receipt in receive tab > generate product receipt button it shows discount amount consider 2nd image. The basic differences I found, qty paramter is difference and product receipt number is creating automatically if we go through load details product receipt generation.
