1,797We have added a fixed allocation account to our company and are trying to add that account to a Project Accounting project as the overhead account. The fixed allocation account is comprised of the alpha characters "OVHD-LABCAP". When we key the account in the textbox and move to the next field, GP notifies us that the account does not exist and asks if we would like to add it. (Even though it does exist!) However, clicking on the lookup icon shows that the account does exist, can be selected, and will properly populate the overhead field.
We created a numeric fixed allocation account and it can be keyed in without any problem. But we would really like to use alpha characters and key these in, not use the lookup. Has anyone encountered this before? Thanks!
