Production Order Qty Changes from "1" to "2" when order is started

Hi Everyone,

When I Estimate and Release Production order with 1 quantity, the "QtyStUp" field of ProdTable has value equal to Zero.

But when I start the same Production Order the value becomes "2". Please refer below screenshot.

Our functional consultant has asked me that it should be updated as 1 and not 2.

I have checked all references of field and there is no customization. Also I have attached one standard code snippet and I believe that code changes Quantity to 2.

I am not aware about the significance of this field. Can anyone please confirm me, why the Qty gets updated as 2 and not 1? Is this a standard system behaviour?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Rhushikesh,

When you start the production order, can you check the value in the quantity field as highlighted? If this is being set to 2 in your environment, the QtyStartup field will be set to 2 as well.

    Hi Gunjan,

Thank you for your reply. I checked and observed that StartUpQty field which is highlighted in screenshot also has value equal to 1. I am debugging more to check where the value is being updated as 2. I will updated you with my findings.

    Hi Gunjan,

Thanks for help. Actually there was some customization which was updating the value to 2. However, your reply certainly helped me to some extent for navigating into deep. Thanks.

    Hi Rhushikesh,

I was thinking the same thing. But since you confirmed there were no customizations, I wasn't sure if there was any other parameter incrementing the value.
