Unable to attach salesperson on item in MPOS

I am unable to attach a salesperson on a line item in an MPOS transaction.

Note that I had created a commission sales group in D365 in the Sales and Marketing module:

And within this module, I assigned the below workers and updated the POS by sending the staff job:

But when I click on the "Set sales representative on line" button on the POS, I can only select the sales group, but not the sales representative:

How can I have the option of assigning the individual sales representative?

As for the second question, You need to mark the Hardware station by swiping on it with Your finger (on a touch screen) and then click Pair, after that You can Activate (if it's configured correctly).

ModernPOS traces can be inspected locally in the Event Viewer at “Event Viewer (Local)/Applications and Services Logs/Microsoft/Dynamics/Commerce-ModernPOS/Operational”.

It would have been helpful if the add "Salesperson" function was available for normal cash and carry transactions. So in this scenario, I suppose I would have to create a sales group for each employee and attach the sales group on the POS transaction.

But thanks a lot for the clarification. Your input was useful.

Commission is calculated for the workers in the specified sales groups at the time of statement posting or sales order posting. The commission amount is determined based on the worker's commission share, as defined in the sales group and the associated commission calculation settings for the customer and/or products on the transaction.

Add "sales Person " function is different than "add sales rep" , add sales Person update "StaffID" filed where " Add sales Rep" update " Sales group filed"

But in that case, how do I assign and track an individual sales representative on a transaction line item on the POS? A sales group can have multiple sales representatives.

Additionally, I found out that by using the "Salesperson" button on the POS, I am able to assign an individual sales representative, but only if the transaction is changed to a customer order. So if this option is available for customer orders, why not for cash and carry sales transactions?

    Hi Vysakh,

This is how the system should work  , If you check the below docs , you can find that The list is shown in POS as a combination of Sales group ID and Name  not workers as you expected .

    https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/commerce/pos-sales-groups-track-commissions

And from Code perspective , the code use SQL crt.CHANNELCOMMISSIONSALESGROUPSVIEW  view to get the data shown in POS.

In that view we select all sales groups that contain at least one worker assigned to the store by address books.
