migrate and upgrade GP server to a new server with same SQL database

We're planning to migrate our current GP terminal server (version 18.2) that's running on a Windows 2016 server to a new Windows 2022 server. The databases are on a separate SQL server and won't be changed. Is it just a matter of installing same version of GP on the new 2022 server, then upgrade GP on the new server to the version we want to, then decommission the old GP server?

    To use Windows Server 2022 for the GP client, you'll need to upgrade to 18.5.1556 or later.
     
    I'd go to 18.3.1173 and then go right to 18.5.1556.
