Hide product price information for certain Business Units?

We have a customer that do not want to show pricing information of products for certain business units within their organization.

Is there any way of doing this in Dynamics CRM 2106 online if you are using the standard functionality for price lists and products?

BR, Elisabeth

    Hi

You would need to do this with field security and apply the relevant field security roles to teams or roles, There is no way to do it on a BU level

Is it possible to do that for the same products? The company shares products but different Business Units have different price lists for the products. How can you configure so that you can only see your own prices for the products (your own BU) but not the other ones? In this case the product price is sensitive information that they cannot share.

    Hi Elisabeth

It sounds like you have internal BU's that compete against each other, Would I be correct in saying that?

You would need to Create Field level security on the Product Price

Then limit the Price List and Price list items to only that specific business unit

Yes that is correct. We will try this and get back to you. Thank you for your assistance!

It is not possible to activate "Field security" on the "Amount" on the "Price List Item" from what I can see. I don´t understand how to go about. Could you give some more details or examples?

    Thanks, Elisabeth

    Hi Elisabeth

The field security should be on the Product Cost not on the proce list item, The proce list item should be set by security
