Hi,

I was wondering why Workflow batches are configured per company. Performance reason ?

Is your question about batch jobs or creating the workflow document setup per company?

Hi Andre,

My question is about the batch jobs. Basically, it's such a pain to configure the workflow jobs in each company if you have a lot of companies

Hi Matt.

The workflow processor batch jobs do not need to be configured per company. They need to be setup once. In fact if you're using the Workflow Infrastructure configuration wizard, it will not allow you to setup multiple instance.

You do need to setup company specific workflow configurations for documents that are not intercompany though.

Hi Matt,

Jonathan is right, you only need to setup the batch once for all companies.

So when you run the wizard in D365 it creates the batch job with a company identified in the batch job. Do you just clear the company,?
