Hello,

I am new the hole word of CRM and am trying to pull a marketing list out of CRM using the API. I am able to pull up all the properties for the list but not data.  What I am looking to do is now that I have identified the list I want to be able to pull the data. Any help or direction would be very appreciated. I am currently using postman to test the API.

    Hello,

Is it static or dynamic marketing list because extraction way will be different.

    It is a static list.

Ok. In this case you can either use expand on list retrieve - docs.microsoft.com/.../retrieve-related-entities-query or build fetchXml that will give your list members - docs.microsoft.com/.../retrieve-and-execute-predefined-queries

Also you can use CrmRestBuilder or XrmToolbox plus FetchXmlBuilber to build your queries.

This is where I am lost and not sure what avenue to go down. I want to create a solution in c# that when a user clicks on a link lets say "3-year list" it will pull from the API that list of contacts and allow them to download it.

    What exactly confuses you?

Within the solution would I use one of the builders listed above to trasform my XML into the formated querie?

I'm not sure what you mean with formatted query. Can you please explain that?

I'm still lost, when a user gets on a webpage I want to have a button that when they click it they are able to retrieve a list of contacts from that static list in CRM. I am able to get the list using XRMtoolbox but I want the user to be able to download the list from a webpage.
