System Message 10232 while printing checks

We are receiving System Message 10232

Assertion failure!

File: Parinter.cpp Line: 449

Expression: call_task.pAppInt ! = Null

The user has indicated that she can recreate.  And it seems to occur when she is multitasking. For example, while she is printing checks and opens another window (doesn't matter which screen), the error will occur.

Any ideas?

Thanks

Renee

RE: System Message 10232 while printing checks

I find this error several times in searching old cases.

    In one case:

    Symptom

    10232 Assertion Failure: Parinter.cpp

    Cause

    single processor machine

    Resolution

issue can happen if there is only a single CPU core on the machine with SL running.   I was able to duplicate.  Once assigning a 2nd CPU core, could no longer duplicate.   Minimum system requirements call for dual core or better.

In one case, they replaced the machine.

The several others showed the cause as unknown or the client didn't tell us what resolved it.

Thank you Elaine.  The machine is single processor.  I will work on updating the workstation.
