Hi,

is there any possibility to change the favicon of a Website?

Yes its possible. Login as administrator and edit current favicon by clicking Children from the home page.

Be aware that the various web browsers like to cache the favicon aggressively so if you have a short cut you may need to delete it and/or clear your browser cache.

Hi Justin,

There is no favicon icon for us. How can we add new one and to display it on tabs?

We didnt find any documentation about it.

Upload your custom favicon to the root of your site as a new web file. The web browsers look for it there by default.

I add a favicon.png to root as a new web file and cleared the cash also opened with the incognito session but it didn't work.

I have only ever used the .ico format, it's likely that newer browsers support png. Also make sure you've cleared your browser cache and I have also found in the past that I have had to delete any saved shortcuts I have in my bookmarks. To help troubleshoot I would suggest you use fiddler to review the requests to ensure that the browser is actually requesting the file.

Here is our setup, everything is as explained in this forum. We cleared cache and even cleared our crm portals cache. we missing anything?

I've created the webfile and under notes attached the image i want to be the icon. I set the parent page as Home, and partial URL as favicon.ico and then in the notes tab i attached the image i wished to use and made sure the format was .ico, cleared the cache and refreshed but still no tab icon? I don't understand how i add that to root of home page? is that still in crm or on the actual edit menu of the portal?

I followed all of these steps, and loaded the favicon.ico file as a web file, changed the partial URL to favicon.ico. It's still not showing up after cache clearing, changing browsers, etc. Any ideas on why this isn't working?
