Selling under one UOM and Invoicing in another UOM

Hi

Is it possible to sell the item (in SO) under one UOM (such as Box) then invoice them under different UOM (such as PCS)?  The issue is each pcs has different size and each box may contain different pcs but we cannot send SO to customer by pcs until we truly pick and ship the item. Selling as a BOX will give us flexibility here but need to invoice PCS.

    You can sell in one unit of measure and price in a different UoM. If you are selling Item A in boxes, the only way this works is if the box always has the same quantity. If the box quantity is going to change, there is no feature for that in selling or pricing. I've seen some clients use lot numbers for outbound product....when they pick they create lots should how much in each box. The problem is that none of the UoM features of BC really work exactly in this situation.

    You would need to look for a 'catch weight' solution.
