Sell one item on multiple unit of measure

Hello, It is possible on RMS POS 2.0 to sell the same item on different unit of measure. For example item A sells EACH for X price or BOX of N units for Y Price. Thanks in advance

    Shahid, Just another thought - You may be able to use Quantity Discounts to achieve what you are looking for. This will allow you to define up to 4 additional levels that are directly tied to quantity. For example, if we have item number 1234, and we want different prices for quantities 1 - 5, 6 - 11, 12 - 23, 24 - 30 and 30+, regular price would be 1-5 and then the Quantity Discounts would fill in the rest of the gaps. Make sure you have Discount Odd Items checked, or just the specific quantity you setup will be discounted. If you have an example of an item and the quantity/pricing breakdowns you want to achieve, I'd be happy to relay how to set that up.      Dear ALL

     

    If  an item has 5 unit of measurement, mean sold in different unit of measurement, then it mean to control the 6000 item  we have to maintain 30,000 item and then associate them as parent and child item.

    but how we can control multiple unit of measurement while creating single item without parent child relationship.

    Ok, I'll check the help for that. But I guess it would generate issues on RMS reporting back sales to backend since the ERP handles the inventory of such items on the same item code, the backend is able to sell in multiple UOMs for each item.

    Yes - set them up as separate items.  Then you can define a parent/child relationship at the child level.

    Review the help guide for more details on how parent/child works (store ops manager - help - contents)

    heloo dear,

    yes it is possible to sell one item at different Unit of Measure (UOM)

    you will create different unit of measure like, each, Box, pallets and create price list of that items

    now u have a opetion to sell this item on each UOM, Box UOM, or Pallets UOM.
