Hi Y'all,
I have a customer that wants to set up internal conferences and communicate to Users but I cannot see how to add users to a segment, or marketing list.
Do I have to create all Users as Contacts?
All thoughts appreciated!
I am no expert but my understanding is that to create a segment, the person must be a Contact, Lead or Account. I believe a Marketing List operates the same way.

Yes, we need to add all the user's as contacts to create a segment, because Segments and marketing lists will take contacts.

In segments you can only access Contact. Contacts, Accounts and Leads are available in Marketing Lists as you say.

That is what it looked like to me but just want to be sure I wasn't missing something.
Hmm... if only Contacts, why do I have the option to Select Lead? I also have a bunch of other options.
