Posting Job Card Journals

I am trying to post a job card journal but receive the following error 'Ledger account for WIP issue must be specified'.

We are only posting time against the resource / resource group as set up in the production route.

As far as I am aware all parameters and financial dimentions have been completed, this is on a new environment for us and we did not receive this message previously.

Any help would be appriciated.

I have the same question (1)

    Hi NickF!

Looks like you have a cost category with missing account in field "Estimated manufacturing cost absorbed". Check the cost category that specified in the Job card journal line (Job card journal line details / tab "Setup" / Cost categories).

    Hope it helps.

    Regards,

    Hanna

    Hi,

On cost categories, you need to check if the GL accounts are defined. If so , please check the account structures.

Thank you for your reply, the GL account was set up in the cost categories however, we found that as the account that was being used was a new account it had not been added into the account structure, posting worked after adding it.

    Thanks

    Nick
