Adding multiple values in segment attributes

Is there any way to add multiple values as attributes to be searched for in a segment? For example, I have 50 email addresses I want to build a segment with. These would be a random assortment that wouldn't normally be groupable together or pullable by normal means.

In Marketo, I was able to say along the lines in a smart list that "email address = [50 emails pasted into a field]" and be able to create a list of those 50 contacts. I feel like that is sorely needed in CI.
I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Thanks for your question. In Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys, building a segment based on a list of specific email addresses is possible, though it works a bit differently than in Marketo.

One approach is to create a custom attribute or tag on the contact entity and assign it to the relevant records. You can then use that attribute as a filter in your segment. Alternatively, if you're working with a static list of emails, you could upload them as a static segment or use a CSV import to associate those contacts with a specific segment or flag.

While there's no direct "email IN [list]" condition in the UI, using a custom field or importing a list with a shared identifier can achieve the same result.

Please verify if this response was helpful.

    Thanks and best regards,
    Daniele

In Dynamics 365 Customer Insights – Journeys, you can create a segment from multiple email addresses using these approaches:

    1. Static Segment:
Go to Segments > New > Static Segment.
Manually add contacts by email or import a list via CSV with a shared identifier.
    (Best for small lists)

    2. Marketing List:
Create a Marketing List in the Sales Hub and add your contacts.
Use this list as a related table when building a segment.
    (Best for large lists)

    3. Quick Send:
For one-time emails, use SEND NOW and select contacts manually.
(Limited to ~30 contacts per send)
