Hi All,

I have restored the database with same version but it's showing error as shown below

Microsoft Dynamics NAV
---------------------------

The client version does not match the server version. You can only connect to a server with a matching version.
Client version:
Server version: 7.0.33781.0
---------------------------
OK
--------------------------

Can you please tell me how to solve this..

Thank you,

The issue is that the client and server have a mismatched build number (from different cumulative updates, even though both may be NAV 2013).

Have you recently deployed a Cumulative Update (platform, i.e. the files portion; or application, i.e. the NAV code objects portion)?

Since the client version is showing blank in the error, you can try to find the client build by locating and right clicking the NAV client file, then clickin on Properties > Details to see what version and build number it shows in the File Version and Product Version properties.

Not sure where the NAV client file is located? You can right click the shortcut and look at the properties; typically it is located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Dynamics NAV\70\RoleTailored Client\" and the file is called Microsoft.Dynamics.Nav.Client.exe (the person installing NAV on your server may have installed it on a different drive or folder).

I hope this helps. If my response has answered your question, please verify by clicking Yes next to "Did this answer your question?"

Is the service created with the same CU of Nav version you are using. If not try to create a new service with the same CU and try. Hope this helps you.

As everyone mentioned your error is related to Client and server version mismatch.

please fallow saurav's blog about your error to make sure you are using correct versions both at client and server

    https://saurav-nav.blogspot.co.uk/2014/10/how-to-check-navision-exe-build.html

If you are using this machine for dev or not worried about mismatch and still want to access select "always connect" . It will allow you to connect to different version in same series

Did you get a solution to this , I have followed all answers on how to check the versions and my versions are all right but the error still pops on running debugger from CSIDE
