Posting Date is greater than expiry date error in payment journal

Dear All,

We encounter the following pop up appear in payment journal, after enter the payment journal and in the journal line, when we enter any field, this message will pop up "Posting date is greater than expiry date"

how do we resolve this?

Which localisation? Not a field I’m familiar with. You get “Expiration Date” but that is used on recurring general journal lines. Do you have any modifications or appsource apps in this area?

Adding to Josh's reply... I am not sure what country BC version you are working in but I have not seen this in US, CA, or GB. When I do see expiry date I think of an EFT settlement date earlier than the Posting Date of the Payment Journal Line.

I would have your Partner debug the payment journal so it can explain why the message appeared.

Hi, This looks like a customized code. You might have to check the code by debugging. Please verify the answer, if your question has been answered. I do not see any code written for Expiry date in code unit 12
