Business Portal Scroll Bar Not Displaying

Posted on by 977

I have a user who cannot see the scroll bar next to the Company field in Business Portal when her Internet Explorer (version IE9) is full screen.  When she minimizes the IE session, and shifts the page off to the left of her screen, the scroll bar is visible.  She is allowing pop-ups, has the BP site as a trusted site, is allowing ActiveX, etc.  Her display is set to 100% and she is not using dual monitors.  My experience, when using IE on my machine, is not the same.  If I have IE set to full screen and I click on the Company drop-down in Business Portal, the scroll bar is visible to me.  What setting, on the user's machine, could be causing this issue please?

Nataraj - we were finally able to get the form to appear after pressing F12, but even after setting the browser mode to IE8, the user does not see the scroll bar within the Business Portal applicatin (Company field).  When the IE window is slightly minimized though, then the scroll bar is visible.  Thanks for the assistance, truly appreciated.

    Hi Kristie,

Dont need to downgrade your IE. when you open the BP in IE, press F12. a new tab-developer tools screen appears, please check the Browser mode to lower versions to change the BP layout and views.

Thank you Nataraj - the user is unable to downgrade her version of IE9 but is able to minimize the IE session in order to see the scroll bar.  I also showed the user how she could enter the first letter of the company name she wants to navigate to, which allows her to scroll through the list.  Thank you for your response though, I will save it in case the issue occurs for other users who are able to downgrade.

    Best regards,

    Kristie

    Hi Kristie,

it seems to be IE's Browser mode problem. while open IE, press F12 to check the Browser mode while you facing that issue. change that to lower versions to check the issues occur or not.
