Error when updating SystemUser in D365 F&O using Power Automate

Hi,
 
I'm trying to update the SystemUser table - like changing the default company - but get an error: "An error has occurred.  No resources were found when selecting for update"
 
 
 
Note that when I use the "Get a Record" action, I can pull the data of the user I used above.
 
Is there a way around this? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

    Hi Tristan,

    The ObjectId parameter needs to be filled with the primary key value(s) of the F&O data entity. In this case it is the UserId value. Looking at the partly visible value, this is not the User ID itself.
    You can also read my blog where I provided an example on how to change the value of the default company in a flow: Multiple legal entities issue with the Fin & Ops Apps connector in Power Automate - Dynamicspedia
     
    In case you want to change the default company for the reason I described in my blog, there is a better option to use the Dataverse connector in combination with data entities enabled as virtual tables.
