User error: Vat Payment (365)

Hi everyone,

 

I have a user that he have wrongly launched the vat payment for the months of January (AX versione: 365). So, at standard, there is a solution for this case? A method to reverse, correct the vat payment or cancel it?

 

In a test environment, I have seen that the maximum we can do, it's to reverse the ledger transaction, but the system don't allow to make the vat payment again.

    Hi Ludwig,

    It's Italy. Normally, the vat payment is projected to be definitive. I have afraid there isn't a solution at standard. But maybe I'm wrong.

    Hi Giorgio,

    If you post corrections then you should be able to create a new report including the latest corrections. Maybe that's what you can test doing, i.e. Post two transactions that offset each other but allow you creating a new report. That is because the original vat report can - as you mentioned - only be created once.

    Hi Giorgio,

    If the user did select the option to update, additional tax transactions and ledger transactions are created for the Tax Settlement. Unfortunately, there is no reversal option for this.
