We have enabled to the Open Ended Absence feature and are in the process of configuring and testing this. What we have found is that in the ESS View, some employee's are able to book leave of absence while others can't, with the option not showing for them. The screenshot shows the option for myself to request this but a colleague, with exactly the same security setup (role profile wise) cannot see this option. The colleague is enrolled on the leave plans but is unable to see the below
I've looked through the system but i'm not seeing anything obvious as to what could be causing this. Does anyone have an idea as to what the issue could be?
Hi, This blog is great. After following the blog settings provided by Parag, I can display these two options on time off balances. You can also refer to this blog to set it up.
Hi, I also don't have the two options presented in your screenshot in my test environment, not sure why. Verify whether there are any personalization or user-specific settings that affect the visibility of this option. Have you restricted access to the selected role in your leave type, you can check if this link is helpful. Configure leave and absence types - Human Resources | Dynamics 365 | Microsoft Learn
