Hi all,
We have a two Data entity in Finance and Operations. First data entity have a status ID column (virtual field related to another entity) and Order name. Second data entity have Status ID and corresponding status values. We need to create a new field in first entity to save the Status values instead Status ID. We already have a old data in first entity. We need a status values instead status ID for old data and new entries also. How to proceed further on this. Please assist.
Hi Gokulnath,
I don't understand how and where exactly you need help. Maybe the documentation about Computed columns and virtual fields in data entities will be helpful for you. Otherwise, please explain where you got stuck or need help.

Here we need to add the new field in first entity ( highlighted in Red color below) to show the Status values, How to achieve this. Please suggest. Any X++ code or expressions ?
First Entity
Status Value (any field type , we prefer Text type)
Thanks for the clarification. The page from Microsoft Learn I shared above is having the information how to add such referenced field.
