How to call a JavaScript function from workflow/action

Hi,

Scenario is I have to schedule execution of a JavaScript function daily at 6 pm ,how can I achieve this using workflow/action?Or simply how to call a JavaScript function from workflow/action?

    You can't execute client side code from server side code like a workflow. You'd need to replicate whatever functionality in a different workflow or a plug-in.

    Hi Purnima,

    This is not possible using java script  as JavaScript executes client side you can say with UI action, so until and unless you make any action in UI JavaScript code will not trigger .

    As you are using online instance so you can not do using C# console/batch  application which needs server to host .

    So I would suggest to do using workflow , custom workflow .
