Hiding X button on standard Entity form ribbon

Hi,

I am trying to hide this 1761847.Capture.PNG button on the standard ribbon using the Javascript Xrm.Page model. I think there is some way to disable it using Xrm.Page.ui.navigation...setVisible(false) but I can't find it. Any suggestions or pointers?

This is not supported in dynamics CRM.

Just out of curiosity, why do you want to hide this X button? This is used to close the current record.

Hi mansard,

You can hide ribbon buttons with the Ribbon Workbench.
