Hi all,

We have started to get this notification popped up whenever we are creating a purchase Invoice. This is only happening in 1 entity, the setup is same for all entities. This is also happening in the sandbox we copied from production and the same entity is giving the error. I have compared setup with other entities and everything is same. No changes have been made.
I have checked other articles and threads on this but all seem to setup as per those. Not sure what the issue is here.

I have the same question (0)

If your line items are G/L accounts, you can ignore this error. A purchasing account in the General Posting Setup is only required when you purchase inventory items.

The error occurs because the posting group assigned to the G/L account does not have a purchasing account. When you add the G/L account to the order, the system checks for the purchasing account but does not differentiate between G/L accounts and inventory items, which is why the error appears. You can ignore this message, or you can turn off the notification in the My Notifications page.

    Hi Valentin,

Thank you for the quick response.
I did post entries and it went smooth without any issues.

I tried to look for this notification in the notifications but was unable to find it.

    Regards,

Thank you. This helped and worked as well. The notifications are gone.

But for everyone else, the notification will only disable for you. You need to go into Roles and disable for the profiles which users are using.

    Regards,

Yes, the My Notifications page is user-specific. If you want to change it for all users, one option is to use Configuration Packages to export the table for it to Excel. This allows you to update the settings for all users at once.

Hi, You can try editing the data of My Notifications (1518) table directly via Configuration Package.
    Or consider customizing a function.
    Thanks.
