Hi There
Just wanted to know if it is possible to send and email from a queue in D365 where the queue email address is actually a distribution list in exchange?
The users are able to send from this email address in outlook and are expecting to do the same when sending emails from D365. Any suggestions?
Thank you
Hi Partner,
Dynamics 365 is trying to test your Distribution List as if it's a real mailbox, which it isn't.
When you are trying to send emails OUTGOING to something that isn't your traditional mailbox, or an address outside of your organization, it's easier to just use a Contact record, with that email address.
My suggestion: create a contact with the email address of your Distribution List.
Regards,
Leah Ju

Hi Leah
Thank you for the suggestion. Can you please explain how I can setup a contact where a D365 user can send an email from a contact record? This is something new that I was not aware of. Have I understood this correctly?
Thanks
