Cannot apply current record filter in entities for open in excel

Hi All,

I have created a custom entity for exporting warehouse items in released products similar to the OOTB EcoResReleasedProductWarehouseDefaultsEntity to be used in excel through open in excel feature.

I created a custom template and uploaded it in the document templates and checked the "apply current record filter" checkbox to yes.

now the problem is that when I go the warehouse items form to open it in excel i receive the following error.

and when I set the "apply current record filter" to No, the error is not coming. I only want to export the current record as this contains more than 100000 lines.

Any idea how to resolve this?

    Hi FODeveloper,

    Please try to re-create that filter in the add-in pane at the right side of the screen:

    organicax.com/.../

    Or you could:

    Implement the OfficeIGeneratedWorkbookCustomExporter interface.

    Write your code in the getDataEntityContext(OfficeGeneratedExportMenuItem _menuItem) method.

    Get the ExportToExcelDataEntityContext object for your entity.

    Use it's filter method to apply your filter.
