Can Power Apps licenses be used with the “Orders” table from Dynamics 365 Sales?

We have Dynamics 365 Sales Professional for managers and plan to build a custom Model-Driven app in the same Dataverse environment for sales reps to manage visits and create orders. The app will use the standard “Orders” table from Dynamics 365 Sales.

Can sales reps use Power Apps per app licenses for this custom app, while managers use full Sales licenses, if all users access the Orders table that is part of the Sales solution? Is this licensing split compliant with Microsoft guidelines?

    Hi,

    Using a Power Apps license, you can use any table which is part of the Common Data Model (CDM), with an exception of some restricted tables. Order are part of the CDM and is not listed as restricted table. See: Restricted tables requiring Dynamics 365 licenses - Power Apps | Microsoft Learn

    So, you should be able to create this app using a Power Apps license.
