"ATTR" Column in Management Reporter 2012

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello:

In Management Reporter 2012 CU13, I noticed that you can add an "ATTR" column and pull in Originating Master Record Name.

The reason that we are interested in this "ATTR" column is because we have a Transaction-Level Detail statement and we would like to drill down to the Originating Master Record Name.

Is the only way to have this drill-down, by adding an "ATTR" column?  If so, do we have to add this "ATTR" column for every column that we already have in the column definition?

Thanks!

John

    Thanks, Mike!

You don't have to add the same ATTR column for each "time period" column in the Column Definition, do you?

Attributes only show up on the drill down details.

The attributes we most commonly included (for Vendors) are Originating Master ID (= Vendor id), Originating Master (= Vendor Name) and Originating Document Number (= Invoice Number)

Each attribute requires a separate column.

I have added a screenshot and widened the attribute columns.
