Auto-Populate Quotation Products

Hi Guys;

I really hope someone can help?

In our company we are preparing endless numbers of quotes with the exact same products forming the base. I would like to configure something that will automatically add the products when I change a record on the quote form.
Ie. I would like a choice field where I can choose for example standard quote and then the system adds the products relating to that choice?

Hi Dale,

One approach could be to use a third party app like: Zap Copy Record which can clone / copy / duplicate any record and its child records in a single click!

Hi Dale,

As per my understanding to your question, you are using the same products.

You can use any one of the method below:

you could use JS to populate the fields instantly by adding the code in on-change event of the choice field

use plugin or workflow(Power Automate).

Note: Plugin or Power Automate works after a record gets saved

Hi, Thanks for the responses, I figured out that you can create opportunities with products and then use the get products function to populate the quote.
